Nice to see an outbreak of common sense among some of the moo fraternity. However, why do some still trot out the tired old 'child-haters' line?

I think you are missing the point entirely. The article doesn't object to kids in cafes it objects to badly-behaved kids - yes, brats, in other words - in cafes. And to the parents on here getting (inevitably, it would seem ) up in arms about the article let me say this: If people controlled their little darlings a bit better then maybe the rest of us would be more tolerant of their presence. Your child may be the centre of your universe, but it's your child not mine and not everyone likes your child although you might think we should. Nice to see sensible parents commenting - but to the ones squealing about the article and shouting 'child-haters' I bet you're the ones whose brats are running riot.
