OMG, what a race - those last 3 laps I was on the edge of my stool (at the bar). There was a lot of shrieking and gasping as I watched the race, but this was nothing to the shouts of outrage when I went to read the race review and discovered that the FIA pushed him back 25 seconds.

As someone has posted on the 606 message board, its getting to the point where they might as well not bother racing. instead the FIA can just get together in a little room and decide which Ferrari driver to award the championship to.

The brother of a bloke I know well is going to be taking up a fairly senior position in Maclaren next month and I keep asking when he's bringing Lewis down the pub. I mean, obviously it'll be after the end of the season, but before xmas right?

God, today's race was annoying - Massa gets a token penalty for pushing Hamilton out of contention and hamilton gets a penalty, effectively for running wide at the start, which plenty of drivers did. And on top of that someone got penalised after the finish giving Massa an extra point. So basically, they run the race and then the stewards work out how many extra points they can award to ferrari.....

I am currently in a fit excitement for Sunday, but strongly suspect that it won't all be over this weekend.

We have some mates who watched Hill clinch it in Australia with us all those years ago and we've agreed to get together again with on 2nd Nov, hopefully for another English triumph in the middle of the night......
