			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;ve just seen a write up in the Independent of a <a title="new Adults Only hotel" target="_blank" href="http://www.independent.co.uk/travel/uk/the-scarlet-cornwall-twos-company-at-this-hotel-1790285.html">new Adults Only hotel</a> in Cornwall. Not having
anywhere near the sort of cash to stay at a place like that and living just down the road, I have no idea if it&#39;s any good. But it does sound lovely. And

			<description><![CDATA[ Was in Pizza Express last night and as we were paying OH mentioned that it seemed to be quite quiet apart from one hord of screaming kids. The waitress smiled,
well kind of grimaced and said that &quot;if you think this is bad, don&#39;t come here on Sundays. Infact stay as far away as you can as it gets overrun with
sprogs, not nice for people who hate kids or you just want to talk to your partner&quot; Now I&#39;m not sure what her manager would of said about her telling

			<description><![CDATA[ I went to the Bull Inn at Arborfield last night ( www.thebullinn-arborfield.co.uk) and as I walked in through the door there was a huge sign (on the door in
big black letters!!) which said:

Strictly no under 12&#39;s in this establishment. (Over 12&#39;s are allowed if eating but are to leave straight after their meals).

			<description><![CDATA[ Those of an alternative persuasion (Rock, Metal, Goth, etc) might like this place when seeking a pint in Bath. It was fairly quiet when I was there, on a
Saturday afternoon, though I&#39;m told by a local that it&#39;s livelier later on (and I think they have live bands in their downstairs &quot;Crypt&quot;).
But it&#39;s categorically CF, too. A woman came in with, presumably, her granddaughter (aged about 10-12) and was immediately told by a very polite barman

I went here (above) today for afternoon tea . . their brochure does say children and dogs welcome but it is definately not the place where noise is tolerated -
they pride themselves on the tranquility the place provides - and I didn&#39;t see one child whilst I was there today.

It&#39;s a REALLY nice place  if you want a romantic weekend away and only a few miles from the Brecon... ]]></description>

I&#39;ve just booked this for me and T, for the Easter weekend. He&#39;s never been to York, Harrogate or Leeds Armouries, whereas I&#39;ve done all three.
It&#39;s not CF by any means, but it does look pretty nice, and it&#39;s got a private car park which is always a bonus when you stay at a hotel or B&amp;B!!

			<description><![CDATA[ Last Orders in Kendal is next door to Wetherspoons in the town center, they have a sign saying NO WAY, no children on these premises!! It&#39;s a bit of a
shed, however the beer is cheap and they had heating on full blast. Several screens with the football and rugby on. Frankly not a designer wine bar but they
have proper ales, and frankly no children is such a plus! ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Last night my other half and I went to a fantastic restaurant with a few friends and it was bloomin marvellous. Apart from the wonderful food which honestly is
the best Chinese cuisine I have ever tasted there were no children, hooray! I think it may be because as the food is of such good quality it&#39;s not cheap, I
would call it good value for money personally but not the sort of place to attract families, we plan to visit again soon.<img... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ A fantastic pub I found when I was in the UK a couple of weeks ago.  No kids allowed (and no bad language).  It sounds draconian but it isn&#39;t.  The
Landlord runs a good pub with a good selection of real ales.   It&#39;s called The Rock and is just north of Blackwood in Gwent (about 20 minutes&#39; drive
from Newport).  One of the few pubs you can actually relax in.

  Unbelievable as it seems we managed to visit two in one day!!!! The first was in coventry and is part of mitchells and butlers empire, and is a sub-division
called embers inns! They have no facilities for under 14s so do not allow them in EVEN WHEN THEIR PARENTS ARE HAVING A MEAL!  Kids are allowed in the gardens
but there is no child menu!! heaven! especially as they serve excellent real ale ( gosh I heard a collective sigh from across the board then!)

			<description><![CDATA[ Magnificent childfree guesthouse in Newtonmore near Aviemore, called Ard-na-Coille - my browser is link-ally challenged so I won&#39;t torment you with a
horrific link but it is well worth googling, it&#39;s the nicest guest house I have ever stayed in and there are munros and red squirrels out the window, a
flat screen tv in your room and a snooker table and bar downstairs plus host who will do anything for you. A+++++. ]]></description>

There are quite a few hotels all over the country - the &quot;historic hotels&quot; are best - I&#39;ve been to Cricket St Thomas in Somerset and Nidd Hall
near Harrogate. Some rooms are huge with four poster beds, or you can get a suite of rooms, or just a standard room but these don&#39;t tend to be in the main
house.
