I know Trixie is a fan of the excellent Gavin & Stacey, don't know about anyone else but I'm not gonna lie to you, I loves it I do. I think it's lush.

What particularly amuses me in the new Series 3, aside from the ongoing gags, is the stuff to do with Neil The Baby.

Whenever Nessa introduces anybody to her baby she says "This is Neil, he's a baby." Cracks me up it does!

Also, she has a baby monitor by her bedside and whenever Neil...

Dr Who: End Of Time

Just a quick post, a lot of you probably already know this. It's been confirmed that End Of Time, Part 1 is on christmas day at 7.30 and will be an hour long. Part 2 is on New Years Day, also 7.30, but is a massive 72 minutes long! Eeeep!

A Christmas Carol

I decided to treat myself yesterday afternoon, and went to see A Christmas Carol, in 3D no less.

It was brilliant, really enjoyed it and what's more there we NO children there, not one, all adults.

So if you are looking for something to get you into the festive mood, this is the film for you! I had a gingerbread latte from Starbucks afterwards, yum yum!

I have to admit "Jedward" have become a guilty pleasure. They are shite singers, but they are just so funny to watch and the other contestants send me to sleep. I don't expect them to win, but I predict they will be in til the quarter finals.

Okay, just put Torchwood into my queue at Netflix, and I did look over the "Guess Who's Back" thread, but I was wondering what to expect from this series? I like SciFi, but I must admit (in a very quiet voice) that I don't remember that much about Dr. Who. Will I still like/understand Torchwood?

Also, since I ordered this primarily for DH (who is a fan of Dr. Who), will there be any eye candy for me?

I saw Revolutionary Road last week and usually I am not a fan of Kate Winslet but thought her and Leo were fab in this . . it's a brilliant subject too.

If I ever get anyone questioning my lifestyle from now on I am going to ask them to watch that film and then maybe they will understand . . . . yep living against the tide can be hard sometimes but it's better than being in a situation you hate . .

Once again I must thank you fine people for sending one of your actors across the pond. DH and I have recently gotten into the HBO series "True Blood," which is about vampires in Louisiana. Now, I know some people love the vampire thing, but I'm not one of them and I still adore this series. Best part about it is the lead actor, a Brit named Stephen Moyer who plays the vampire Bill Compton. Oh. My. God. He is so hot, just so damn hot:

Cold Mountain

I was given the book Cold Mountain to read last week. I haven't seen the film, but I know its set during the American Civil War (something I have an interest in)

Has anyone read this book? I get the impression its a love story and that's not my sort of read, but if there's much more to it than that I'll give it a go.

No spoilers, there's a new trailer for the upcoming Autumn special, "The Waters Of Mars" here. But what's even more exciting is that a trailer has been floating around of Tennant's final episodes, possibly entitled "The End Of Time". I watched Into The Wild this week. It was one of those random (and possibly drunken) additions to my Love Film rental list but I thought it was a fantastic film. The filming was very good and the true story was told really well. Fabulous - worth watching particularly if you like the outdoors, alternative lifestyles and the like.

New Johnny Depp film, out today on general release, i believe.

Tried to convince hubby to take me to the cinema to see it. I told him there would be some good action in it, and the trailer features lots of guns! In reality, I just want to watch the movie to see Johnny. *swoon*

I decided to give this new series a go, mainly because I kept recognising the outside locations.
